At the request of some teachers of A and B of the fifth elementary school in Via Quattrucci of Grottaferrata, our Master gave the Magi, the experimental plan, with weekly meetings aimed to start interpretive reading of the texts of poems and prose. The dialogue form of reading textbooks, taken from the Iliad of Homer, gave impetus to these meetings that have attracted the keen interest of the children attending.
The approach of the holiday season has suggested to give priority to the use of texts devoted to Christmas as an event that allowed for public participation.
The texts selected were "The Holy Night" by Guido Gozzano and the "If" by Pierre Gulbert.
The recitation was conducted in the school day Monday, December 15 with the festive participation of parents and family.
The initiative for a dialogue about reading textbooks resume after the Christmas holidays.
