the Mill Tavern Satyricon Parisio

Now the question I put to the audience is this: because the Osteria Satyricon is called in this way?
The quick answer is that Our landlord wanted to name his restaurant to evoke the light-hearted jovial banquets. Concorde, the tables are distributed barzellettieri books and the walls are hung with colorful paintings.
My argument, however, is different: I argue that the restaurants are secret worshipers of the god Priapus.
they say: "three clues are evidence." Well here it is listed.
The first clue is in the name of the restaurant, who is the true protagonist of the work of Petronius Arbiter, if not the insatiable and angry greek god?
The second clue is in the location of the tavern at the mill with its towering Parisio and unequivocal fireplace (see photo).
The third clue is littered with the meal that was proposed and I am going to tell.
It began with a taste of couscous, beans and vegetables teased by a prosecco. The dinner table was then washed down with a Chianti Riserva 2006 "Casalgallo" not truly memorable, and anointed with oil "Terra d'Otranto" cold extraction and then maimed.
Among the first remind the "Paccheri jumping pillow nuts and Pendolino olives with lemon fragrance, light and efficient and more robust
" Capellacci stuffed potatoes with onions, salmon, brown butter and pumpkin flowers "sprayed wisely by pepper amazing.
Then came the second:
a pork loin with smoked potatoes and friggitelli Mack "who was noted for the softness of the meat;
the" Tartare with French mustard, tomatoes friggitelli and "unfortunately not at the same level as the other dishes, especially bocciatissimo amalgam of mustard;
also assess the" grilled tuna with beans and cream of onion jam "and also in this case, although the individual elements were worthy of note, the consistency was considered poor;
the "Vitellina agropiccanti with beans" but overall it was appreciated.
Last but not least (and here is the clue) the "cascade fillet with vegetables, served on a skewer erected by support hook.
Here we comment the pot, what a pity only that so few of these proposals in the accompanying vegetables, but I add a corollary to the art. 192 of the Code of Criminal Procedure admitting the evidence as proof when they are: multiple, serious, precise and consistent.
Sweets and fruits, imaginative and sometimes phallic, like the rest of the menu:
cherry wine, and the Bavarian peaches, chocolate fondue (also inspiedata)
taccolenta with mascarpone cream, panna cotta with saba and crunchy the remarkable brazadèla.
all at the right price of 250 € divided among nine people.
